SHIPPING
We ship every business day throughout the U.S. and Canada. Many
times orders go out the same day and almost never more than 24 hours. Our shipping
method is usually U.S. Postal Service or UPS Ground unless otherwise specified
and takes anywhere from a couple days to a week depending on size of order and
distance to send. We send all beans in a plastic bags, however, we have available,
for a small fee, cotton drawstring bags for our smaller sizes and burlap for
our Bulk. Roasted beans (when offered) come in resealable, one-way CO2 vent
bags.
RETURNS
GREEN COFFEE BEANS
Buyers Regret Policy: We can not accept
returns on coffee beans --for all the right reasons
• Coffee is in the food category and cannot be returned unless spoiled:
green coffee beans do not spoil for a long time – more than 2 years. We
have very fast turnover and do not sell beans over a year old (unless
they are an aged varietal).
• Green coffee beans look very much alike with exceptions of course according
to subspecies, etc. We cannot definitively tell one similar bean from
another, therefore our integrity is on the line with every bean we sell
to you. Keeping beans well marked is a serious issue and we would lose
that control if we accepted returned beans. There is no acceptable way
for us to be guaranteed that beans being returned to us are exactly what
they are supposed to be. This rule is also for your own safety regarding
your own purchases from us.
• SUGGESTION: If you're not sure you will like a particular coffee, start
with a small order.
ROASTERS AND OTHER MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS
We extend each manufacturer's warranty to you and will assist you with
problems whenever possible.
There is a no return policy on Commercial Roasters. (only exceptions are
brand new condition units that are resaleable as brand new with a 25%
restocking fee)
• Please contact us if you do have problems with anything
purchased from us. We want you to be happy, so together we will work out
the best way to handle it. Sometimes it means shipping it back to us;
sometimes it means contacting the manufacturer directly; sometimes it
means making an adjustment to the unit...or method of use. We are here
to help you with all of these options.
• We will not accept returns without prior written/email authorization
from us. If you are requesting a return, please do the best you can to
explain the problem. Then save a copy of our email reply to send with
the returned item. This is very important, so that we know what to do
when we receive it. FYI, the email comes from Hawaii, but the product
is returned to our warehouse in Arizona so there are different people
on each end.
• We will also accept unused items for return for any reason, providing
the merchandise is returned unused in the original, undamaged packaging
and returned at your expense. We will refund the price you paid for the
merchandise only, not shipping charges. Return authorization is still
required; send a copy of our email authorizing the return with the merchandise.
The refund will be made in the same manner in which it was originally
paid for, and within two business days of our receipt of the return. You
will receive email confirmation of that transaction. We value your satisfaction--please
shop responsibly.
We sincerely hope that everyone who starts roasting will be pleased and
continue roasting, but we realize that there will be occassional returns
for varying reasons. Here is how returns work.
Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt.
• Send us an email telling us you will be sending the roaster
back and we will respond with a return authorization number for you. We
would appreciate a reason for quality control purposes, but it is NOT
required. It is required that the equipment be returned in undamaged working
condition.
• We will reply to your email with shipping instructions. SAVE A COPY
OF THE REPLY TO SEND WITH YOUR RETURNED EQUIPMENT.
• Pack the equipment and ship it back to us at the address below. Note:
The Bean Stock does not reimburse for returns, the shipping charge will
be at your expense.
• Upon our receipt of the equipment only - remember you keep the coffee
(see above) - we will credit back your credit card the cost of the equipment
only and email you an acknowledgement receipt showing that transaction.
• We sincerely thank you for giving home roasting a try.
